Fly Patterns for Patagonia

Some of the Aquatic Insects Species in Patagonia are very similar to what can be found in the Northern Hemisphere, but trout and salmon have adapted themselves to feed on local insect populations as well as other small invertebrates and small fish. That's why some of the classic flies that you might already be using, can be productive as well in these waters. But local flyfishermen have developed a series of new fly patterns, especillay adapted to Patagonian Fishes, always looking for perfect imitations of natural food, and also searching for the right attractive combination that triggers the fishes response.

This section is devoted to present some of the most productive flies in flyfishing for trout and salmon in Patagonia.
